Ram Patrachari is the President at SPentarkAI, a company focused on AI enabling enterprises. With more than 30 years of experience in IT, he has worked at premier organizations such as Jamul Casino and Resorts, Viejas Casino and Resorts, Bell Labs, Compaq, Exodus Communications, and AT&T Wireless. Ram brings a wealth of experience from a more than 20-year combined tenure at Jamul Casino and Resorts and Viejas Casino and Resorts, where he was instrumental in building the IT portfolio to support 24×7 operations and over 100 applications, including a campus-wide fiber infrastructure and resilient compute/storage systems.
Ram is a forward-looking IT entrepreneur with extensive expertise in implementing and managing highly scalable information systems across diverse portfolios. His excellence in IT has earned him annual nominations for the San Diego Top Tech Awards. In 2015, his IT team at Viejas won the TribalNet Game Changers Technology Award. In 2012, Ram received the Top Tech Exec Award from San Diego Magazine. He was also honored with the Information Technology Executive of the Year Award by the San Diego Business Journal in 2010, and in the same year, the Viejas IT team won the 3rd Annual Tribal Technology Leadership Award from TribalNet.
Ram holds an MBA from Monmouth University and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He has also completed executive programs at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and the University of Chicago’s Kellogg School of Business. Ram is a certified PMP, CISSP, and Certified ScrumMaster, and he is an active member of the IEEE Computer Society. For the past seven years, he has served on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council. He has also served as an Advisory Board Director for TribalNet for 11 years and Advisory Board Director for Gaming & Leisure for 10 years.
