Your tribe or tribal enterprise has likely entered into hundreds of agreements for various technology products, licensing and services. Who in your organization is responsible for ensuring those agreements meet or exceed not only your sovereignty concerns, but also protect you from data privacy laws, PCI requirements, HIPPA requirements, your own compliance requirements and a host of cybersecurity best practices? This session is a working group discussion with the goal of taking what we discuss in the session forward to allow a working group to produce (in the coming months) a best practice boiler-plate “technology legal and security concerns” contract addendum that can be shared with all participants and TribalHub Members to help each tribe solve the challenge going forward.
